If you've read my blog now for any length of time, you know that I wear compression stockings. Every day. And I have since I was maybe...9 weeks along with Little Brother?
I normally take off the stockings immediately before falling asleep. Even 5 minutes with the stockings off = foot starts hurting/walking is painful.
Talk about things we take for granted... the other night, I decided to check email on the downstairs computer, after I'd already taken off my stockings. I was halfway down the stairs when I realized how good it felt to be actually touching the floor with my feet. As in, bare feet.
The floor was unswept, so tiny particles of dirt started sticking to the bottoms of my feet, but I was so excited, I didn't care.
So, all that to say... I'm looking forward to "wearing" bare feet again--once Baby's born!

Oh my, do I identify with this. I wear support stocking from late first trimester on, and have for the last 4 or 5 pregnancies. Carpet feels so nice when they're off!
